KGVI Youth Leadership Training
A programme of learning for young people, aged between 17 and 22, wishing to become Leaders in the Boys' Brigade comprising 2 one-week residential courses.
Youth Leader Training
Successfully completing KGVI qualifies you as a fully trained BB Leader.
The Course
The training is completed in three parts:
- a week-long residential course of taught sessions and practical exercises, equipping the learner with the skills required to be an effective leader back in their BB Company.
- a year back in their home location putting the skills into practice on a supervised basis.
- a second week-long residential course, with the emphasis on the learner building on their experience and delivering a number of sessions on an individual or a group basis. During this week additional skills training is provided.
